Update: Adblock plus is the shizz. Use it and abuse it. Firefox 3 is w00t! Though a couple of my addons didn't work with it. The one I use most is Iexif from Opanda and it did work. Get the exif info from any photo that has it embedded. It's great for seeing what camera, and setting are used. I tend to leave the info intact. Maybe someone can get inspired to use that info.

these are older, and I don't post anything that I care about online, they're just to give an idea of what I"m into...

still doing nature, macro and other, but mostly action now that I have a good camera. Some of which is on my website. That doesn't get updated much now as the better stuff goes to print, or to the website I work with. So there's the update for anyone wondering what's up with me.  Onward and upward, one and all!



I stumbled across a page referring to adblock yesterday. [link] I downloaded it for my firefox browser. install--> [link] added the lines *ads*  *adbureau* (and some others for elsewhere) into the preferences and wow I got rid of almost every ad on dAdvertising. w00t! So if you don't want to see ads here it's pretty simple to get rid of most of them.  At least until they come up with some new scheme to foist them upon us. over and out.

So yeah, I wrote that (below) on Sept 19... then I noticed that there ARE ads on the pages with the deviations! I mean that's a real big WTF!  I remember back whenever the hell it was, and they said they'd never take away from the art by -putting ads on those pages. Guess they lied eh...oh well. As if that's not bad enough, they put an ad right between the deviation and the comments. Fuck art. we need more ads!

What has this place become? Honestly, I have to wonder. It's name ought to be deviantAdvertising! screw ART! dA=deviantADS  Pictures have become nothing more than a vehicle to place more ads on pages. Well, I suppose we should be thankful that there aren't ads next to the art like there is while you reply to someone's journal. With the blinking fricken renaisance shit. How f'in distracting is that.  UNfortunately my kid turned on the damn flash and now I have to actually SEE this shit.  (anyone know how to turn it off )  What next?  I shudder to think......
